The Italian Bioinformatics Society, starting from this year, has provided  "travel grants" to young researchers for attending the annual general meeting. We are grateful  to the “Fondazione Preparata” for supportig this initiative.

 

"Preparata Travel Grants" have been awarded according to the evaluation scored by the Scientific Committee to the submitted abstracts (only one attendee/research group has been rewarded with a travel grant).

Each travel grant amounts to € 300 which will be credited to the bank account of selected candidates after their registration at the conference reception desk. For new BITS members the travel grant also includes the 2010 BITS association fee.

Eligibility

The Italian Bioinformatics Society along with the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology "E. Quagliariello" (University of Bari) and the Institute for Biomedical Technologies (CNR) are glad to invite you to the 2010 edition of its Annual General Meeting.

The event will take place at the Domina Hotel & Conference Bari – Palace, Italy, April 14-16, 2010.

Arrived this year to its seventh edition, the BITS annual general meeting is the major event organized by the Italian research community in Bioinformatics.
